2008 STUDENTS CONTRIBUTION AND TUITION FEES

You are eligible for Commonwealth Support if you are an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident / Permanent Humanitarian Visa holder or a New Zealand Citizen

Commonwealth Supported – NEW STUDENT commencing 2008
You are a new undergraduate 2008 HECS student if you are commencing your course of study as a HECS student from 1 January, 2008.
Commonwealth Supported – Post 2005 (continuing students)
You are an undergraduate post-2005 HECS student if you commenced your course of study as a HECS student from 1 January, 2005.
Commonwealth Supported – Pre 2005
You are an undergraduate pre-2005 HECS student if you commenced your course of study as a HECS student before 1 January 2005 and have not discontinued your enrolment or completed the requirements of the course
Commonwealth Supported – Pre 1997
You are an undergraduate pre-1997 HECS student if you commenced, deferred but did not complete your course before 1997 and you have not discontinued your enrolment. You may be eligible to pay a non-differential rate of HECS. You will need to contact the student fees office to assess your eligibility. Please contact us to check.
Domestic Fee Paying
You are a domestic full fee paying student if you are undertaking a fee paying Post Graduate course, Non Award course, University Certificate/Diploma or an Undergraduate full fee paying course
International Students
Students who are not Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, New Zealand Citizens or holders of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa are considered to be International Full Fee Paying Students.


Fees for WAAPA Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma students.

1. All fees quoted are for Units undertaken as part of a Courses of Study with full assessment.
2. Statement of Accounts for Tuition Fees are available via SIMO, Fees Links
3. Fees quoted apply to Units studied in 2008 only. Different fees may apply to Units studied in subsequent years. ECU's fees will be updated annually.
4. ECU reserves the right not to offer a particular Course or Unit in 2008. Please check the timetable to see when/whether the unit is offered.
5. All enrolments must comply with the ECU (Admission, Enrolment and Academic Progress) Rules. The University reserves the right to refuse an application for enrolment if it does not comply with the requirements of those Rules.
